BRIC Rotunda Gallery / BRIC Arts | Media | Brooklyn and the Brooklyn Arts Council Community Arts Regrant Program for Arts in Education, funded by the Arts in Education Program of the New York State Council on the Arts, a state agency (NYSCA).
The LCB Initiative supports arts in education partnerships between schools and cultural organizations or individual artists that collaboratively plan, teach, and implement programs that integrate the study of arts and non-arts subjects in Brooklyn schools. Projects may be developed through the initiation of teachers or other eligible school personnel, representatives of cultural organizations, or individual artists in all disciplines.
Eligible proposals will be developed for arts in education projects scheduled to take place during the school day from February 16 - June 30, 2008. Successful applicants will clearly demonstrate how the arts and non-arts subjects will be studied in an interdisciplinary or integrated fashion and cite the New York State Learning Standards in the supported arts and non-arts areas.
It is very helpful to attend an application seminar (both will take place at The Rotunda Gallery)
